The Jedburgh Teams were used extensively during WWII as part of the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) to work with resistance forces in France and Belgium to use unconventional warfare against the occupying Nazis. These teams are often considered as the birth of modern day Special Forces. This patch commemorates their mission and was the unit patch during the unit’s existence.
“Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men.”
